Well Cory is a kindred spirit due to Ninja Obstacle Course, but, we also are Vegan and talked at some length at the UNAA finals.
It was awesome finally getting a face-to-face with him. And he had several ideas for the course, running the course and other suggestions that were most helpful. He does have a knack for course design I would believe!
And what else does Cory do – get a fill of what Cory is all about.

Do you follow any pro sports, if so which teams/sports?
Over the past 3 years I haven’t had time to follow sports because I’ve been training hard for my own sport. Ninja of course! But I am a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan/shareholder. I even have a clump of turf/mud under glass from the January 4th 1997 Monday Night Football playoff win over San Francisco.
What is your favorite color?
What are your favorite TV Shows?
Up until about a month ago I haven’t watched TV for the last 5 years. People always ask me, how do you have so much time to do all the things you do? It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you cut out TV. Although I don’t subscribe to TV I am a tech geek so I do have Amazon Prime and Mattflix (I guarantee you won’t have this one) and others so I do have access to pretty much every TV show and movie in history. I just started watching Mr. Robot because it fits my techie lifestyle.
What are your favorite Movies?
Favorite movie of all time: Cars. I just think its genius. Movie I’ve seen more times than any other: First Blood. I used to watch First Blood every day after school for like a year straight. I love all kinds of movies, 80’s Schwarzenegger, even romantic comedies. I like documentaries a lot.
What are your favorite Songs?
I’ve learned to appreciate almost all music. Melodic hard rock speaks to me and literally gives me strength and confidence so I always listen to that when I’m lifting or need inspiration and confidence. I also love pop, new country, oldies and 70’s/80’s jukebox music.
What are your favorite Movies you hate to admit?
Not sure about this, I’ll admit just about anything. Frozen? LOL!
What are your favorite Songs you hate to admit?
If I play Arianna Grande or something like that when I’m driving my friends are usually like WTH?!
Movie/TV/Super Hero you feel you are most like and why?
Captain America has been my favorite comic book character since I was young. I like how he’s a normal guy who’s just been strength augmented…plus he’s patriotic and I like the colors.
Favorite hobby outside of physical activity?
Wow… LOTS. Let’s see, off the top of my head… I’m a touring USAA Air Hockey pro. I play in local tournaments, state tournaments and the World Championships every year and have been ranked as high as #12 in the world in Air Hockey. I used to play on the PDGA disc golf tour as an advanced amateur. I was a skateboarder for 18 years as a sponsored amateur. I’ve always built things since I was young and I went to school for Industrial Model Building so I will build just about anything, from my own Bluetooth buttons to an addition on a house. I’m super into tech, my house is totally wired so I’m always building tech things. I also build websites for everything I do. I have a very popular garage gym www.polishpowerhouse.com, a very popular man cave www.themidwestern.com and a very popular Ninja course www.ninjaranch.com. I have also built over a dozen full size arcade machines, each with over 3000 games on it. Basically every arcade game from 1979 to 2000. I’m very into retro gaming, especially arcade games. I love all 80’s nostalgia. So that’s just scratching the surface of things I do but I think that’s enough for now LOL.
What is your favorite Food?
Previous to going completely Vegan 6 months ago it was a split between beef jerky or a soft pretzel with tons of salt. So now I guess it’s soft pretzel with tons of salt. Super Pretzel brand to be specific. I’m not big on auntie anns and stuff like that, plus I think they use butter on those. I have always loved Super Pretzels since I was a kid getting them in the mall in the 1980’s.
